EV Changes: Puddle Lights over OEM Bulb

Hey, guys! I got a set of custom puddle lights from a third-party seller on eBay. They fit perfectly and gave my EV the exact vibe I was going for. As for the bulb number, I found it in the car’s manual, just as suggested. The color I went with was a cool white with a subtle blue tint. I am...

First Impressions of the Ford Explorer EV

@WindAmier15 Yes, the lack of a FRUNK is definitely a bit of a letdown, especially when a lot of competitors are offering that extra storage space. And I don't know why they are not adding it. What do you think would be the reason?

Should I order the Ford Explorer EV

It seems someone has done his homework on the Ford Explorer, haha! Yeah, definitely, considering the range and features, it could be a great first EV. I like some modern conveniences about it, like wireless charging and advanced safety options. Before everything, I would test drive it and...

Ford Explorer EV RWD and AWD range

I like the RWD option with 374 miles. Ford is making huge steps in the EV market. But yeah, as you said @egwenealvere, real-world performance is crucial when determining how it compares to competitors. What can you say @uto@ficionado?

    2025 Ford Explorer EV

I am super excited about the 2025 Explorer, too. I think the both standard and range battery is a smart move. I mean, we all can buy it, haha! Solid specs, of course. Tesla has started having some serious competition. I haven't decided about pre-ordering, but it is tempting. What about you? Are...

EV Changes: Puddle Lights over OEM Bulb

Hey everyone, I want to change something about my EV. I like how it is, except for the color bulb Ford put on it. I just don't like the color. So I am thinking about purchasing some puddle lights for my EV. I saw some videos with the lights in live-action, and they purely put the car on a...

Ford is getting rid of active park assist

Interesting decision. I haven't heard about it until now. For those who didn't have a regular car in the past, yes, it might be difficult. But for those who had one, I think it will be easier for them to re-adapt. As if this is a good move... I think we will get the answer over time. What do you...

Charging Details for the Ford Explorer EV

The charging speed is decent. The 79kWh Extended Range AWD model can charge to 80% in 26 minutes (you were close), using a 185kW fast charger. The 77kWh Standard Ranger RWD model takes more. Like around 28 minutes. At home, it might differ... but with a 7kW wall box, it takes around 12 hours.
