Ford is getting rid of active park assist

Ford is getting rid of Active Park Assist as a cost-cutting measure. Apparently, very few people were actually using it. I'm kind of surprised because it seemed like a pretty cool feature.

I'm wondering if it will be difficult to parallel park in a Ford without Active Park Assist. Do you guys think this is a good move?

Interesting decision. I haven't heard about it until now. For those who didn't have a regular car in the past, yes, it might be difficult. But for those who had one, I think it will be easier for them to re-adapt. As if this is a good move... I think we will get the answer over time. What do you think?

I use the Active Park Assist feature a lot, and it has been valuable, why would they want to get rid of it! Is there anyone here who use this feature frequently?

For those who are used to parallel parking manually, it shouldn't be a big adjustment. I am ok with that, even though I have used the feature in the past.

Yeah, it's surprising they’re cutting it, but if people weren’t using it, I guess it makes sense. Parallel parking might be trickier without it, but most Fords still have decent parking aids.
