I just read from an article that Ford will discontinue their Active Park Assist feature which allows our Ford vehicles to parallel park itself. I just hope this is true and hopefully they would focus on more important aspects especially with the electric Explorer. I’m not a fan of these fancy features either, I just want comfort and reliability. Hoping that the Explorer EV will be one.

Does anyone else feel like they're paying for features they'll never use? My 7-year-old Ford Endeavour has this thing that I've never touched. It feels like I was robbed of something I didn't need. I'm wondering if anyone else has unused features that they never tried.

I agree as well. This feature will only be helpful to beginners and some lady drivers. Comfort, safety, and reliability will be more important than any additional features.

I’ve found Active Park Assist quite helpful in tight parking spots or when I’m in a hurry. It’s a handy tool when precision matters, especially in busy urban areas. For me, it adds a layer of convenience and reduces stress while parking.
